I love ideas that merge technology and society, be it through games or sustainable living. I’m always learning all sorts of stuff that will enable me to build the things I’m most passionate about, from code to 3D graphics. I actually got a BA in Philosophy, so everything you see on this site–including the site itself–I taught myself to do.
I love doing everything in a project but especially designing the whole user experience and engineering the technical details to make it work. I specialize in technical design, merging code with sexiness to create the most usable systems ever known (hopefully). I strive to accomplish this as a front-end developer and through game design & development (with a severe side interest in computer graphics).
On my free time I’m usually hacking away at Flash, web stuff, or some new tech; manipulating pixels in Photoshop; or tweaking vertices in modo. On other days I’ll be riding down mountains on snowboards, scrambling up rocky hills, and of course relaxing on hikes through the forests of the Northwest. I’m always on the lookout for fine microbrew as well.
